Venton Conference Centre Set To Grow

Venton Ltd based in Summercourt, near Newquay, has recently been awarded funding from Cornwall Council’s Growth Hub Grants Scheme. The Growth Hub grants are part of the Good Growth Programme, which is delivering the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly. The grant will help fund development of the already successful conference centre, aiming to offer more high spec conference rooms for Cornish businesses as well as those further afield.

Venton opened its doors back in 2021 and since then has gone from strength to strength. The innovative, state of the art centre has developed its facilities over the years from a smart sign in for delegates, to high spec conference calling systems allowing for hybrid delivery of meetings and events. 

With the demand on their existing four conference rooms ever growing, the opportunity to expand the centre to offer two additional conference rooms, one of which being a fixed high finish boardroom ideal for those senior meetings, as well as a relaxed lounge area for delegates to use, was not to be missed. With the support of the Growth Hub, Venton has been awarded funding to make their next step a reality.

Venton will be continuing to theme their rooms after some of Cornwall’s most beloved beauty spots, with Constantine and Fistral joining the portfolio in the new year. These two suites will provide a comfortable, professional and reliable meeting space that still delivers on technology, flexibility and above all quality, all of which Venton has become trusted for. We are also pleased to announce that our exciting addition of a relaxed lounge will offer guests the space to work or network with other delegates in a comfortable space, away from the hustle and bustle of the main event.

The project is due for completion in early February 2025 and the new rooms will be offered on a half or full day basis, as well as evening and weekend on request. Special rates are available for multi date bookings too.
